Integrated HPS? Formal versus historical approaches to philosophy of science

Abstract The project of integrated HPS (‘integrated history and philosophy science’) has occupied philosophers science in one form or another since at least the 1960s. Yet, despite this substantial interest bringing together philosophical historical reflections on nature science, formal remain as divided ever. In paper, I will argue that continuing separation between is ill-founded. for both abstract concrete terms.
